4) Extending my band class, I tutor 6th graders in an instrument for about 3 hrs per week after school.
5) Participated in Dog Shelter and Blind Dog Association (2 hrs every weekend including summer)</p>

<p>You can’t apply EA if you apply ED. ED is binding, you sign a contract that you will not apply anywhere else. Cornell, Northwestern, UWash and Carnegie Mellon are all reaches for you with only a 30 on the ACT. You should try taking SAT to see if you can bring your scores up. NYU is a match, I’m not sure about the others.</p>
