GPA: 4.44 W, ~3.9 UW
Class rank: 11/300
SAT: 2120 (700 M, 670 R, 750 W)
SAT II: 630, Bio and US (definitely my weak spot)

Extracurriculars: Model UN (Sec. Gen. (12) and Undersec. Gen. (11)), Key Club (President (12), Co-President (11), VP (10)), XC all 4 years (Captain (12)), NHS (President), Anti-bullying workshop facilitator, hospital volunteer since freshman year, food pantry volunteer since middle school, etc.

I highlighted my interest in global health. I have won several awards at prestigious Model UN conferences (2 of which were in health related committees). Also, I’m taking a dual enrollment global health course at Harvard. Last year, my APUSH research paper on the history of abortion was entered into a regional history competition. And over the summer, I interned at an international NGO.

I’m hoping that my leadership positions, keen interest in global health, and strong gpa/test scores (excluding my SAT ii’s) will help me out.

Several kids are admitted from my high school (large public) every year. The average for admitted students from my school is a 4.3 GPA and a 1900 SAT.
