Schools:
Duke ED (Pratt)
University of Washington
Seattle U
Cal Poly SLO
Case Western
Santa Clara
Vanderbilt
Brown

none of those schools (other than case western) are really even known for engineering… look more into cal berkeley illinois michigan purdue… and get that act to a 33+ or so

Both your in-state school (Wash) and Cal Poly have good, established Engineering schools. You are a solid match and even a safety at both these schools. These schools are not in the category of senior’s list, but are still good choices of E schools to apply to. You may want to take or re-take the SAT as well, to see if you can increase your scores. If not don’t worry, you have some excellent E schools on your list! Pratt at Duke is also a very, very good school and you have a shot. I would definitely look into applying at some of the schools senior mentioned. As a female applicant, you have an advantage over the boys as the E programs at most of the schools want to increase the percentage of women E majors! I would take Seattle U off your list for Engineering.

Seattle U is a safety my parents are forcing upon me. I’m open to re-taking the ACT but I’m definitely not taking the SAT again and don’t plan on taking subject tests so the UCs are kinda out of the picture

@jshain I would only be in-state at UW
