I would say it’s a low reach

chance back?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/843221-chances-after-deferral-wm.html#post1063873072

Sorry I’m new, is a low reach easier than a high reach?

bump, bump.

good ECs, but it’s quite a reach given your SAT scores.

Yes I believe it is. The trend I’ve gotten is it goes in this order from best to worst chances.

In
Match
Low Reach
Reach
High Reach

Bump. Bump.

Thanks, What do you think of my chances at Boston university with these stats. I wrote a pretty damn good supplemental essay. Also Umass and Newhouse? Wrote great supplements for the latter too.

Also do you think I have a chance of being LSP’d?

I mean it’s possible but the students I know in LSP had at least 1900 or 2000. If you’re GPA is good (3.7 or so), I’d say you have a good shot at LSP

umm i say low reach. my friend got in with 36… but better SATs

how much better if you don’t mind me asking?

If you go to the links I’ve posted, you’ll get an idea of the kind of students who are getting into the different NYU schools:

As you’ll see, most CAS admits are in the 2100-2200 SAT range and/or have GPAs above 3.6. LSP is marginally lower. Given your stats, CAS would be a reach, but not impossible.

Hey thanks yankees that was real helpful. More unsure than ever now but theres’ still hope.

No problem. Just trying to help. Don’t count yourself out yet, you bring a lot to the table :)

bump bump 10
