^I have a town in the outback of Australia where all my ancestors grew up, and i wrote my essay on the experience of going to Australia and seeing the graveyard where they were all buried and the experience in being in the town of my origin</p>

<p>only thing going for you really is that you are a female applying to engineering which is one of the easier schools to get into. If you were applying to A&S I would be fairly certain that you would not get in. However, I think you have a shot as long as your essays are good.</p>
