Caucasian female, in-state (grandmother and sister attended)
Will apply to the College of Engineering

Thanks! :)

I think you are good to go. Very good chances. Your application is very strong and well rounded. Good luck and Go Blue!

Thanks! And yup hail to da victors

Jesus Christ…

Haha what??

How many if these do you need to post? Do you really need to hear more and more people say you’re in?

We’ve been over this. You are an IS female applying to engineering, you’re in.

Umm, just being an “IS female” doesn’t guarantee admittance.

I just got my ACT scores back and they were raised by 4 points. SORRY.

With average - above average GPA, ACT (your old one), ECs, and Recs it does.

With your ACT now you’ll probably be getting some Women in Engineering scholarship or something.

Well I got bad math/science grades (Bs and Cs) freshman year that I was scared about, so I would have to disagree that my old ACT (33 math, 28 science) qualified me for instant acceptance. I don’t think those scores (mediocre for Michigan) exactly redeemed myself. Especially for coe, which places special emphasis on math/science grades.

lock.__________

Yessssssss  thank you

You worry too much… UM is going to be intense… You are definately in, but lighten up or UM is going to crush you.

Wait what? Why would it crush me? My half sister went there and she wasn’t crushed!!!

Yea, i wouldnt be worried at all. I got in with a 3.7 and a 27

^ recently?

I got in in november of 2009, so fairly recently.

In state???

You are definately qualified and probably a bit above the average UM freshman. College is all about time management. There is more than enough time to go to class, study, and still have a great college experience. These next four years will be the best of your life. Work hard, but have fun too!!! GO BLUE!!!

Haha I don’t know how my resume comes across here but I promise I have fun! I’m not freaking out about this or anything, but I honestly can’t imagine the alternative if I got rejected…I don’t want to go to state!

Yeah, in state
