this summer I'm taking geometry honors to advance myself and also an SAT/ACT class so I can take them in the fall and retake in the spring. I took the PLAN and got a 27 but I know I could have done better (I took it before algebra 2 and geometry so I knew nothing on it).
I'm hoping to get at least a 2100 at the minimum on the SAT and a 32 on the ACT. Still waiting for world history subject test and AP results. Will take the subject test for Lit and maybe Physics.

Sports: played JV tennis sophomore year, doing track junior and senior year.

will be in National Honor Society, French Honor Society (hopefully a leadership position). Also hoping for a leadership position in the Poetry Club. Will be editor for the school newspaper. I've been on the highest honor roll every semester. Received a scholar athlete award for tennis. Link Crew leader (helps freshmen adjust to high school), Student Ambassador.

Planning to enter several writing and poetry contests that have state or national recognition.

I write for my city's online newspaper.

Because community service is required at my school, I plan on starting a project that everyone can participate in and get hours for. Also volunteering at Boys and Girls Club (this summer and during the school year), while tutoring or starting a program there. And volunteering at VBS at my church this summer. By the time I graduate, it is estimated that I will have over 150-200 hours of service. Also very much involved with my church, youth group, and volunteering and such.

I have no idea if I'm crazy to think I have a shot at any of these but please let me know my chances for:
UC Berkeley (dream school)
UCLA
Boston College (dream school)
SMU
Boston University
Northeastern
Penn
TCU
Amherst
Northeastern
NYU
UCSB
Villanova
Brown or any of the Ivies
Northwestern
Georgetown
Notre Dame
Stanford
LMU

if interested, I'm planning on majoring in sociology and English with a minor in history. Or communications.

thanks :)
