OTHER:

I am fairly secure with regard to my recommendations and personal statement.

Amherst College - low reach
Bowdoin College - low reach
Middlebury College - low reach
Vassar College - low reach
Williams College - low reach
Brown University - low reach/reach
University of Pennsylvania - reach

i think you have a very strong chance to get into one or two of them…esp. considering that you are a very strong student…you have tons of EC for an int’l student…

is the school in europe or in india?

No… it’s an International School in India

I’m also applying for Financial Aid

Bring Up My Post

those are your reach school? I hope you find some solid and safety schools. I am also an international students, and i am from China!

Amherst College - reach
Bowdoin College - low reach
Middlebury College - high match/low reach
Vassar College - low reach
Williams College - super reach
Brown University - low reach
University of Pennsylvania—high match

could you please chance me back?

B.u.m.p.
B.u.m.p.

So Vassar College is harder to get into than University of Pennsylvania (IVY) and Middlebury (top 5 LAC)? News to me…

my thoughts exactly arcadia =)

I’d say almost all of the colleges are reaches because
a) you’re an international
b) you require financial aid =/,

while your application is well rounded schools like UPenn have a limited pool of intl aid available, so competition would be insane :o

good luck though =),

hope ye get in where ye want :D

B.u.m.p
b.u.m.p

Needing aid means no one can tell you. At best, each of these schools will offer aid to a few Indian students each year. They receive many applications from India and you will need to truly differentiate yourself to be among the lucky ones.

If college in the US is your goal, it would be wise to add some less selective ones and some that don’t see as many candidates from India like LACs in the South and Mid West.
