<p>Hi everyone, I have been reading CC recently and decided to post a threat in this particular forum. I am an international applicant (I also need financial aid) and hope that you guys will chance me at some of the top universities; and here is my list:</p>

-National Ranking: 2
-Many tennis awards from national and international tournament.
-CAPTAIN of our tennis club.
-Overall, I believe my play level is the same as in D1 league.</p>

<p>*SAT: 2000 (CR: 620 M: 710 WR: 670) Will take it again since I have a lot of time till ED.
*SAT Subject: Will take Math I and II and Physics, expect to score 750+.
*Rank: 1%
*GPA: approx. 3.9x-4.0
*Recs: are very good, one is from a teacher graduated from Harvard; also the add. rec is from an ITF tennis coach.
*EC: -some voluntary work during the summer at BULGARIAN RED CROSS (the largest charity org. in my country)
-Other sport achievements, as finished first in 27th National Relay-Race with a national record (I was the captain of the team).</p>

<p>*Essays: Have some very strong ideas.</p>

<p>Can you offer me some safeties, too?</p>

<p>It does not in most cases. Your college list is lengthy and I would suggest you cut it down somewhat. I asked for your intended major to try and figure out your list. From the information you provided it wasn’t apparent to me as to why you would apply to MIT. Now I know why. </p>

<p>Bump up your SAT scores and you’ll be a competitive candidate for most these universities.</p>

<p>Have you had college tennis coaches contact you and show enthusiastic interest in recruiting you? Have you had paid official visits offered by coaches? (This the test to see if you are a highly desired recruit.)</p>

<p>Your SAT is low for a tennis recruit–there are many high-scoring American and international tennis players around.</p>
