main essay for common app
- the focus is on why I got interested in art (I'm a prospective art history major...)
but one of the teachers said that the essay serves dual purposes because it shows the warm relationship with my dad.
short activity answer for common app
- my cheerleading experience but it's not about how I learned teamwork or cooperation but it's about how it helped to rebuild a 10 year old friendship that I nearly lost during 9th grade because of my stupidity.

Chance me and I'll chance you back!

plz chance me.......lolz

I have NO idea how being international affects chances of admission (at Wes or anywhere), but if you were a non-international applicant I'd say Wes would be a match for you:

Your academic stats look really good (and remember, you can make a composite SAT score so even if you score lower on math and writing this time, if your reading score goes up that could help you a lot). Also, Wesleyan only needs 2 SAT II scores, so I dont' think they'll count your World History score. Lots of APs and the GPA looks solid.
Your ECs show commitment/passion but lack leadership roles, so I'm not sure how Wesleyan will balance that.

Your cheerleading essay, while I haven't read it, sounds a little like a diatribe of high school drama. Maybe you're painting it in a very philosophical, interesting light, or the story has some other angle that I'm not aware of, but I'd be careful about writing an essay about friends/cheerleading.
A lot of the community service you did sounds really interesting (playing the Korean traditional instrument sounds really exotic and interesting to me as an American), so maybe you could incorporate that into your essay? I don't know, to me that sounds like better essay material than cheerleading, but go with your gut.

Good luck!!

Oh about the leadership position..
im the co-captain for our school dance team
and director of the club activity department in the youth committee
and im also the lead alto in the a cappella group
director of information technology department in student council

would these titles help? .... lolz

and.. i was hoping my CR score go up to 700+ but... it just changed to 690.....

well... i really don't know if i will be able to get in...lolz

Yes those leadership roles will be a big help!

thanks flyingpig... anyone else?
