What are my chances for the Ivies, MIT, Stanford (probably my first choice) and UC Berkeley? Please and thank you!

Top Ivys, MIT, and Stanford cannot be decided with a "Reach" or "Match". However, you have a very strong chance at all your schools because of your GPA, SAT, and SAT IIs.

My friend with almost exact results (Chinese female, Vancouver, public school, 2390...) got in Yale for ED. I'd say you have good chance for all of your schools (though as mentioned, Stanford and MIT difficult to describe really).

the top ivies are a reach for everyone, and many times people rejected from no.2 get into no.1, so it's a question of how well written your essays will be and a bit of luck. But with your stats, I'd expect you to get into most, if not all, the schools you apply to.

hey fellow canadian here applying to HYPM too (already applied to Y EA tho)
u have amazing academics and SATs. u definitely have a shot at all the schools but of course, the Ivies are a reach for basically everyone...

on a side note, i was part of GRFAW too. which lab did u end up working in?

The international pool for America's top private universities is an absolute crap shoot. We can only tell you if you won't get in. No one can tell you that you definitely will. That being said, you are well qualified for every school. You could get into none of them or all of them. If you actually apply to every Ivy League school, you'll probably get into a few, maybe even most of them. Although I hear MIT is outrageously hard for internationals. I'm pretty sure MIT isn't need-blind. Do you need financial aid?

I read that Harvard required 2 units of History and 3 of Social Studies.
Be specific on which Ivy League to settle on - Apply Single Choice Early Admission to Yale or Stanford OR be binded on Admission with UPEnn, Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown. A good but small chance with Harvard but slightly bigger with Princeton. Research on which uni is good for your major. MIT sound good with its non-binding Early Action program. Do consider Caltech if you like MIT. Be honest with yourself. It is advisable to apply more than ten colleges if you are an international student. However, with your outstanding SAT I score, you can aim less and not wasting a lot of money.

Look for other options - like Liberal Colleges such as Williams, Amherst, Swarthmore, etc. Canadian & England Universities are good too. Do not give up. Remember to sound positive on your essays and don't try to be too subtle or modest. Colleges like what they want to hear and they want high achievers who are not afraid to show off.

High Reach: Harvard, Stanford
Low Reach: Princeton, Yale
High Match: Columbia, MIT, Dartmouth
Low Match: Cornell, Brown
Safety: Colleges, and Canadian Universities who are happy to welcome such high achieving student like yourself.

Hopefully this will help you and Good Luck in becoming an Ivy League's Member's Student. :)

Oh I'm sorry. Yes, now that you mentioned it, I totally agree with you. I apologise to I<3Pi for putting his hopes up. Like you said, it should read something like this:
High Reach: Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, MIT
Low Reach: None
High Match: Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown
Low Match: None
Safety: Colleges, and Canadian Universities who are happy to welcome such high achieving student like yourself.

I hope Gaffe, you will be more satisfy with this. Good luck!
