<p>APs: Microeconomics (5), Macroeconomics (4), Statistics (5)
Next year: Calculus AB, Physics B, Chemistry</p>

<p>ECs: Cricket captain (6 years club, 2 years international); 1st place regionally. 2nd place internationally
Varsity Basketball (4 years); 1st place regionally, 3rd place internationally
MUN (4 years); ambassador, delegate, main submitter
NHS (2 years); member and head of tutoring
Amnesty international (2 years); vice president and activities director
Forensics and Debate (2 years); serious duet acting and oratory speaking</p>

<p>Students at UChicago do not declare majors until third year. Please also keep in mind that international students who apply for financial aid will be substantially less likely to be accepted. If you are not applying for aid, pull up your ACT slightly and you’ll be fine. Make sure to own the essay!</p>

<p>Just to make it a little clearer, your choice of major has no factor in your admission to the university. They’ll probably look at it and say, “Hmm. Interesting.” Then they’ll move on to the rest of your application. And the essay has to be brilliant.</p>

<p>Probably. But don’t go in with that goal. Just do the best you possibly can on every part of the test.</p>
