Chance an international plz

Hi all, I am an international and wanted to know how my chances are so far and what I can improve upon. I have attended a US high school my whole high school career though, so I don't have to deal with the TOEFL and other kinds of those tests.

Work/Hobbies

Applying to:
HYP and Dartmouth - SCEA to Yale
MIT
Cornell, Stanford, Duke - applying for aid as an international

Also I have two safety state schools.

So how does it look for me so far? Thanks in advance

Come on guys

okayyy just my two cents, youre excellent but somehow applying to cornell/standford with financial aid will lower your chances considering youre an international.

but really, youre credentials are excellent.

Thanks a lot syamil_1. Yea, I realize that. Any one of the ivy league schools is looking like a crapshoot now with their less than 5% international acceptance rate. Will going to a US high school the whole time help me? Anyways, even if I don't get accepted, I'm pretty sure I'll qualify for National Merit (PSAT 236) and my state school pays me $17,000 + perks, every year if I make finalist. Anyone else?

wow, pretty awesome stats. only down-side is international, but won't be too bad at all.

are you URM/ORM? will make a big difference. I'm assuming you're not URM since then you should not even have to ask for chances, you're auto-in at at least one ivy XD

Hey, I chanced you back on my thread, just in case you haven't checked back.

Harvard - Reject
Yale - Reach
Princeton -Reach
Dartmouth - Match
MIT - Reject
Cornell - Match
Stanford - Match-Reach
Duke - Match

Great stats, but you might want to learn how to spell Bausch & Lomb and Rensselear for the application. If you won both these awards and finished in the top 20 in the USABO biology competition two years in a row, then you should get admitted to any biology program in the US in my view with your grades and test scores and other ECs. (although you'll still need to go 730 or above on your last two SAT IIs for Harvard).

Best of luck to you.

woah, Reject at MIT and Match-Reach at Stanford? I disagree.
i think both are Reaches.
Thats just standard for most top schools, so its nothin against u. Personally, i think you have a strong application. It really comes down to whether Stanford and MIT like the personality u create on the application

Sorry this is slightly random, but green card holder = international?

^ No, you're compared with domestic people

Great stats! You definitely stand as good a chance as the rest applying to HYPMS! Gd luck!
