Your weakness is in your curriculum. You took AS math+sociology when you could have taken the full Alevel,so thats not taking the most challenging curriculum on offer.Could your also include your IGCSE/Olevel courses, that could help me chance you better. And a list of all the schools you are applying to:)

I did the ICSE(indian board) and my courses were:
Economics, Mathematics, Science(phy+chem+bio), Environmental Education, English and Nepali. I got an average score of 83%.
I am applying to Colorado College(ED), Carleton, Middlebury, Colgate, Bucknell, Bard, Occidental and the University of Rochester. I am trying to balance the reach, match and safety schools so it would be great if you could help me out with that as well. What do you think my chances are at each of these schools? Can you suggest some more colleges in the match or safety range?

Based on your class rank and SAT scores alone, I’d say you have a good chance of being admitted. Overall it looks like you have a strong application. Congratulations on a great secondary school career!

However, you say you need substantial Financial Aid. This is what Lafayette says about FA for internationals:
[quote]
“Lafayette meets the full demonstrated financial need of international students through a combination of loan, job, and grant aid. The awarding of aid is extremely competitive, and may impact the admission decision.”
