I’m going to be brutally honest. Your GPA is far below average for Stern. Most students have a 3.7+ UW. Coupled with that, most students have an SAT score of like…2100+. I’d say Stern is a high reach for you.

It’s only the application fee that you would be out. I say send in the application. Good Luck.

Stern 2011

yeah very high reach… your gpa is very low for stern and your sat’s are even lower …

when applying to NYU do you guys use EMBARK or the Common application?

hmm i really don’t want to discourage you… but u have a combined CR + math score of 1130 when NYU’s average is 1430… and also ur an international applicant which makes ur chances lower… but still keep ur hopes up high! good luck

And in addition to that… CAS is extremely unlikely but you’re applying to Stern which makes it even harder

Don’t even bother

Why being int’l student lowers your chances? My stats:
Applied to CAS Econ
H.S. GPA: 4.95/5.00
College GPA:3.66/4.00
SAT: 1950
Good recs

Don’t even bother applying to Stern with those SAT scores. LSP is even a huge reach for you.

i raised my CR score to 580 does that make any difference?

Lol no that won’t make any difference

If the average sat score is around 2200, you’ll need 750,700 on every section
