Chance an International Student, pretty pweeze? :)

Hi! I would also love to hear some suggestions which in which schools I would have a better chance to get in, if possible. :)

Atm I've chosen schools which may seem quite unrealistic:

*Amherst, Bates, Cornell, Duke, Kenyon, Lafayette, Wesleyan, Smith, Swarthmore, Vassar and St. Lawrence. *

But that's mainly because I have other options in the UK, where I'm pretty sure I would be accepted anyways. So, if I get in a better college in the US than I probably deserve, that's great, if i don't, I'm going to the UK. So it's worth overestimating myself a little this time.

I come from a small European country.

-Unweighted GPA: 7,6 (10 grade scale), the average at graduating class is 6,9, however, my school is ranked among the 5% best in the whole country, so the level of knowledge (and therefore GPA) should actually be perceived higher (esp. at math, sciences), because we have a bit different grading system.

grad class rank- ~30 out of 131 ( all 1st semester marks)

-Advanced classes:
Sciences, math

-Standardized tests:
I'm taking ACT this Saturday and hopefully SAT in January. I don't give the ACT too much chance, probably 25-26. Science ruins it all for me :( At SAT I would do around 2000, I think..

-EC

Oh and IELTS overall band score 7

Duke, Cornell and Amherst out of reach, Swarthmore mid-reach, the rest are low reaches.

Thank you!!
to others, if that helps, I just checked the [WES Grade Conversion Guide: Latvia](http://www.wes.org/gradeconversionguide/latvia.htm) conversion table and discovered that my unweighted GPA according to American standards of this semester would be ~3,5-3,7, the overall (on diploma) would be even more higher, because of the marks got at the junior year. However, I didn’t take into account the advanced classes and the elevated standards at our school, therefore it could actually be even higher than that. It all depends on the way how my counsellor will make it appear, I guess
And I personally think, that skipping the middle year, probably, shows my ability to take challanges, keep up with the high standards and study on my own. What’s even more important, my grades have actually become a bit better this year.
The tests, however, still make me pretty worried :(

So yeah hmm I would like to update. And get an honest answer whether I should rather concentrate on my UK uni apps :D

I just received my ACT scores- overall score 24. Totally messed up Math 25, did unexpectedly well on science also 25, and poor 23 and 22 for English and Writing. I certainly could’ve done a lot more better, but oh well after I took the test I felt it was not going to be anything good at all.
I also took the SAT last Saturday, I hope I at least improved my score at Math.

I applied to:
Agnes Scott (sending scores)
Bates (not sending)
Berry (unsure)
Colby-Sawyer (not sending)
Wooster (ACT scores already sent :()
DePauw (SAT code placed on test-sending)
