Chance an international student

Hey guys! So I've applied to Lehigh RD and since the decisions are to be announced soon, I'm getting very nervous about how its going to turn out! Here are my stats, do chance me!

I study in an Indian school following the CBSE curriculum. Quite rigorous.

TOEFL: 107.

ECs: (i) Been playing chess for 9 years now, represented India in the World Youth Chess Championships in France, Georgia, Greece. Have an international rating as well. Won several regional competitions.

(ii) Scrabble player, participated in World Youth Scrabble Championships in Malaysia and in the Gulf Scrabble Championships in Dubai. Have an intl. rating in Scrabble as well, world rank (among adults) 750.

There are a lot more that I can list out but I think these are sufficient enough.

Essays: My essaya are good enough, according to my parents and counselor. I wrote about chess and how it helped shape me.

Interview: Had a great interview with a current sophomore at Lehigh. He was really impressed. I elaborated on my extracurricular achievements, and I also explained to him why my 11th grade scores were low.

I've also applied for financial aid, because my father can spend around 30k for my education, which is clearly short of all the costs.

So those were my stats. Can I get in? Thanks for your time :)

Oops, forgot to add: I’ve applied for Mechanical Engineering.
