Chance an international?

Hey everyone, I'm an American living in Germany, and because my counselor has no clue about American universities, I have a hard time guessing my chances. I've really started to love Tufts and I guess I could say it's my top choice now (although it hasn't always been, but the more I learn about Tufts, the more I love it!!). So please be honest and tell me what my chances are!

Addition: My GPA after the year I failed is 3.5

I don’t believe anyone can calculate chances from the info given in a typical post, but I’d say you have an interesting story. I know Germany grading can be quite different from what is typical at a US high school and I think anyone can understand that you had special challenges. I spent five years in Germany when I was in my 20s and found it quite challenging to be immersed in the language and culture. I thought my German was pretty good, but I spent my whole first week having to learn the names of all the gadgets in a typical architectural office. It was exhausting!

In any event you have good scores, not impossible grades, and you should have plenty of material for good essays. Good luck!
