I think your stats are good enough for the schools you’re applying to. I guess it’ll all be up to having a good hook, good essays and recs. But I think you’ll definitely get accepted to more than one of your school choices. Good luck! :)

Dude, let me make this clear to you. We are international students. Those median SAT score ranges posted on websites do not compare to us. You have awesome scores, gpa and involvements. But the main and sometimes the only thing that matters is the applicant pool. You might get rough idea but to know how competitive it would be just try to find how competitive the applicants from your part of the world are.

If you get into IPhO next year, and end up medalling in it, I think your chances would be very good, even at better schools.

The incongruity however, is your score in the SAT Physics subject test…scoring an 800 in the test should be a cinch for anyone looking realistically to compete at the IPhO. If you got 720, and are the top in the country, the colleges will be curious as to know what is actually being taught in your country…
I know of a guy, from another European country, who got a Silver at IPhO, and then scored 800 on his physics subject test even though he was hungover on the morning of the test…

Not sure if you should list this as an EC: “SAT tutor at school”; while tutoring is admirable, SAT tutoring is emphatically not what colleges want to hear about…

Other than that, best of luck with your application.
