Chance me guys, i'll be needing a lot of FA too.......

17 schools? That’s many man! As for chances, Ivies are reaches as for everyone and the fact that you got deferred at Amherst prolly means that you’ll get into Lafa Reed and possibly Grinnell.
Others are “can’t tell”.

high hopes man !!!
but u deserve them !!!
found you in yet another thread !!!

thanks. both of ya. anyone else??? bump!!!

why is your weighted equal to unweighted?

17 is alot!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/831526-my-final-chances-thread.html

because we don’t have unweighted GPA in school. no GPA system actually, i just guessed 4 "A"s and a “b” would be equal to 3.8 on a 4 scale.

Ok sorry just wondering because I was trying to determine difficulty of courses

I don’t know about all of these…

bump.bump bump.

SAT scores and ECs pretty good for an international…I would say many of those schools are matches. Harvard is a reach…

:) :D

i have high hopes now…

Duke99, you have a great shot at Colgate, Macalester, Reed, Lafayette, Grinnell, Hampden-Sydney, St. Lawrence, Saint Peter’s and Wabash. Theres a high possibility that you will get into atleast one (or more) of them.

And as for the others, most of them are high reach and the Harvard one is most probably a certain reject. Wesleyan is very stingy towards internationals, so you might also give up hope on that. Good Luck.

thanks alan.
hmmmmm wesleyan, i was advised not to apply by one of my seniors…but i went for it anyway. And scrap that macalester, i decided not to apply.
