oh, and I am from China. If I am deferred or denied in ED(Dartmouth), then Wellesley is one of my top choices.

Thanks for replying:-)

forgot to mention AP…
Calculus BC 5
Micro 5
Macro 5
Statistics 4

I think you have a wonderful chance, the only thing you might have to worry about is that you’re international and seeking aid, which sometimes can be an issue.
But if you are strong in every aspect of your application, you should be fine. Good luck!

From China…
ni jiao wo men zhe xie ren qing he yi kan na…

Yeah I agree with SinFused.
You’re seeking FA. Even though Dartmouth claims to be “need-blind to all applicants,” the 14ers applying for FA in China basically all got rejected.
You seem to be a really strong applicant. Just keep in mind that you need to emphasize what’s the most about you instead of spreading everything out.

Good luck!
Who knows if they just LOVE you and decide to give you the aid you need! =)

strong academic background ne.
but what I have to say is that…try to dig out some of ur pretty unique characteristics.
From what u have told I can only say dat…ur scores r great but the person? I dun know.
nd among Chinese applicants, High GPA and High SAT2 scores (I mean Maths lv2, Chem nd phy) are not that able to make u stand out.
But ur CR is great…so just work on ur essays…try to be strong but unique.

bazinga, I don’t have too much hope for Dartmouth; even without applying FA, I probably won’t get in anyway, but still what you said about the 14ers is still really depressing:). I certainly hope Wellesley will accept me.

I know I am Chinese but bazinga what do you mean by “qing he yi kan na”? My Chinese is not that good…sorry.

“qing he yi kan na” means “情何以堪啊”。

I had to look that up in a dictionary. My Chinese sucks, but thanks.
