<p>I've been reading all those "Chance me for XYZ University", so I found my situation to be extremely peculiar. First of all, I'm a Brazilian student, and I'll let you guys know why such fact is important to be considered. Let me digest all the particularities into detailed and thorough informations:</p>
<p>1-STANDARDIZED TESTS:</p>
<p>I only took one SAT Reasoning Exam so far (May 7th) and got 2140 after some hardcore studying (I would definitely build up vocabulary every single day and did four practice tests in order to familiarize with the test instructions...). I got 790 Math, 700 CR, 650 Writing (9 Essay + 64 Multiple Choices). Many people told me it was an extremely good score, but as I want some reach schools such as Princeton, U of Chicago or Stanford, I don't think this score draws me into a line of competitiveness necessary to ensure a fair chance of admissions.</p>
<p>I took three SAT Subject Tests yesterday (June 4th). I'm hoping for 750+ in each one of them. I took Biology M, Chemistry and Math II (most people I know, including my counselor, told me Math I is losing space in most selective admission processes).</p>
<p>Regarding English Language Profeciency Requirements, I've fulfilled them. Fortunately, that part wasn't hard (you guys can't fathom how the SAT CR and Writing are absurdly more diffiicult than those profeciency tests ahahahaha).</p>
<p>2-THE BRAZILIAN SCHOOL SYSTEM: ECs and other info</p>
<p>Here in Brazil we also take college entrance examinations. The difference is that this tests demand us to have major knowledge of Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, World History, Brazilian History, Geography, Portuguese Literature, English, Spanish, and other minor subjects like Philosophy and Sociology. these tests are extremely selective. For example, if one wants to enter college, the average competition is 25 candidates per spot. Thus, attending a good school is essential to ensure an auspicious test result.
