I'm a first generation Pakistani-American

I'm a Virginian (State Resident)

your stats seem pretty good, but (not that it matters for admission) are you Turkish or Pakistani?

I’m pakistani too!

You’re a good fit.

Your SAT score is really good for UVA (being In-state) and your GPA is pretty good as well, would you know what it is UW?

And yeah, are you Turkish or Pakistani? It’s all basically the same in the name of demographics though “Middle-Eastern” or “Asian”

I’m Pakistani and I identify myself as “Asian” but maybe, when it comes around for college apps, I’ll put “Middle-Eastern” because there are A LOT of asians.

Best of luck!

^

People from the Middle East are considered Caucasian in applications; Pakistanis are Asians (the Indian Subcontinent is clearly included on applications). Once you check off Asian on your app, there is a country option within which Pakistan is listed.

^This is true. I identify as Middle-Eastern because I have lived in Turkey for many years (first 8 years).

Do you speak turkish? I try to converse often.

Anyways, bump?

I say high match, I would be a little surprised if you didn’t get in, but UVA is odd sometimes.

Upward trend helps, I don’t think your freshman year will hurt too much.
