Hi all,

I just finished my freshman year at my local New Jersey community college. I am enrolled in this schools Computer Science A.S. program and plan to transfer after I complete it. As of now my GPA is 3.9 and I am an officer in two clubs, one of which is PTK. I am joining math club this fall so I will have a total of 3 extra curricular activities on my resume when I go apply to transfer. Could anyone provide me with their opinion and insights on chances for a student such as myself transferring to some of the following schools?

(From first pick to last)
1. Cornell (I heard Cornell school of engineering is very very hard to transfer into so I think I will be applying to school of arts and sciences.)
2.University of Southern California
3.Rice University
4.Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
5.Stevens Institute of Technology
6.Rutgers

I really haven't looked into all of these schools in full detail besides Cornell and my more local choices (NY and NJ) and my main interest as of now is their CS school ranking as listed here: Best Computer Science Programs | Top Computer Science Schools | US News Best Graduate Schools and their locations (I hate cold winters!)

Thanks!
