Hey everyone -

So I'm trying to transfer to NYU as a metropolitan studies major (College of Arts & Sciences).
I was accepted last year as a freshman applicant but I didn't go because I was stupid (regretting this so much). So here I am again…

HS GPA: 3.9uw, 4.1w
AP's: Euro 5, Spanish 4, Studio 3, Design 4, AB Calculus 5
ACT: 31 composite in one sitting
First Generation College Student
Top 10% of my class. 27/273
Tons of EC's in high school, in college I'm working 2 jobs, roughly 20 hours a week.
Transfer from Loyola Marymount University.
Will end with 28 credits from LMU, but I am technically a sophomore with AP's and placement credits. With all credits (from HS and college), i will have 47 credits.
College GPA after 1st semester: 3.93.

I'm a little worried that because I am taking only 28 credits at LMU for my freshman year, it may hurt my chances of getting in. I also read something about transfers must have 30+ credits? If so, do AP's and placement testing credits get counted in that?

Thanks guys!
