Chance an OOS Student Please!

<p>Sorry to annoy you all with another chance thread, but I'm anxiously awaiting my notification letter from UTexas. I'm applying to McCombs, but could anyone tell me what my chances would be for ChemE at Cockrell (just curious)?</p>

Asian Male
-Attend Magnet School focusing on the sciences
-91.6% Unweighted GPA (School does not weight nor rank)
-SAT (one sitting): 1400/2130 (M:690 CR: 710 W: 730)
-SAT II: Bio-M: 650 Math II: 640 (Retaking in January)
-ECs:2 Club Presidencies (one political club and one debate club), Founding third club this year (business-related club), involved heavily in all of them and have state level positions in the political and debate club; officer of technology club; licensed EMT
-600 hrs of community service through 2 activities
-IB Diploma Candidate
-Founded tutoring company alongside a classmate
-NHS; National Merit Commended Scholar</p>

<p>Well, I was rejected for Chem Engineering (as far as I know, since I’ve only been admitted to SoUS) . So all I can do is show you my stats and give you a rough estimate:</p>

<p>White male, in-state
101 weighted GPA, something like 3.99 unweighted, rank 15/502 (top 3%)
SAT: 740 CR, 710 M, 710 W
SAT II: 720 Chem, 750 Math II
EC: Managing Editor for school online/print paper with several national and state awards from CSPA, NSPA, ILPC,
some community service for NHS and journalism activities
National Merit Commended (T_T like 2 points from semifinalist… lame)
5 AP Eng. Language
5 AP World
4 AP Chemistry
4 AP US
3 AP Human Geo.
3 AP Euro</p>

<p>Pretty proficient writer, and I liked my essays. Don’t see why they shouldn’t have.</p>

<p>Hope that gives you an idea. Comparing scores we’re pretty similar (except in Math II, which you’ve retaken?) but you do have nice ECs from what I see.</p>
