Chance an OOS who hasn't taken Calc?

So, I just saw the requirement of taking calculus in high school, and the way my scheduling worked out, I wasn't able to take it this year--I want to study Stats in college, and really wanted to take AP Stats and AP Bio. I've taken five years of language (2 in Spanish, up to Spanish 4) and 3 in Mandarin. I've also taken physics, got a 96.

W&M is one of my top choices, but I'm freaking out because of the calc thing. Can I still get accepted?

SAT: 2300
SAT II: 800 USH, 680 M2
GPA: 95, top 10%

-captain varsity sport
-captain debate (awards)
-have studied 3 languages, and tutor in one, speaking competitions in another
-two internships
-one research publication that won an international award
-camp counselor

Do I have any chance?

Here’s my schedule, for a bit more perspective:

Junior:

H. USH-95
AP Gov-98
AP English Lang-92
H. Physics-96
Pre-Calc-91
Spanish 4-93

Senior:
AP Bio-88
AP Stats-95
Psych 101 (college)-95
AP Lit-90
Chinese III-97

While we no longer respond to Chance Me threads (see our post: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-william-mary/1219572-w-m-admissions-presence-cc.html</a>), we do want to clarify that taking calc is not a requirement for admission, it’s simply a recommendation.

2300 SAT, 2 internships, published research, nearly perfect GPA… Your chances are very strong. Strong and fit as a bull moose, Mr. Roosevelt…(; History reference; you should get it with that US History SAT II score. But like I said, your chances are very strong(: The only thing I might recommend is raising you Math II SAT a bit.

Yes, I thought I was a strong candidate, but will not taking calc hurt me that much?

I’m sure it won’t make much difference… Most people don’t have your SAT score, Internships, or published research, regardless of if they’ve taken calculus… I think you’re not taking calculus will be overlooked quickly haha. But again, raise that Math II SAT, it’ll show that you’re capable of upper-level math, even though you haven’t taken calculus. But like I said, the rest of your application is outstanding, so I’m sure this will be overlooked(:
