UNC Chapel Hill: High Match

I had about the same credentials (classes, grades, leadership). I got deferred from early action and I thought for sure I’d get in on the first try. I’m also a woman going into math- so I’m not sure what theyre looking for. Best of luck.

I think your grades are really on point and sounds like you excel in music. That’s good you just don’t have grades to show off. I think you have a shot but it’s soo hard to get into if you’re out of state so don’t consider it a safety school or anything because no one never truly knows. Your application looks very impressive. FYI, a low percentage of OOS applicants are admitted into UNC. Can’t recall the percentage but rep at college fair said they focus on the in-state applicant.
