Chance an upcoming college grad

Hey everyone, I'm about to graduate from UVa this upcoming year (2011). I used to use CC a while ago, but forgot the pass of my account:p

So here are my stats:
GPA: 3.97
Science GPA: 4.0
MCAT: 43

My GPA is mostly likely staying at this level, next year I'm only taking 2 classes to fill my neuroscience major.

I am a double major in Neuroscience/Biology

EC's:
President of youth MSA
President of youth ASA
VP of Neuroscience Society
VP of Cardiology Club
Tutor for first years
Dorm supervisor
VP of theologians club
Secretary of youth MUN

Here are the schools that I aiming for:
Harvard
JHU (First choice)
Mount Sinai
UVA
Duke
Washington State.

All advice highly appreciated!!!

hahahaha - you should go repost this on SDN - they’ve got loads of experience answering this exact question…

I don’t think you are going to get into JHU or HMS. Your EC’s are waaaaay too weak for that. Your stats look good and I’d expect you’ll get into a school ranked b/w 15-30 but not many. Great stats. Weak EC’s for top schools.

Research? No research, take a year off, then you’ll have a good shot (relatively) at JHU.

Research: one year covering cardiac health of fifty patients that were on 5 different meds (one med per ten people).worked with cardiologist

The op is my cousin:)

And norcalguy, I think his ec’s are in no way weak! He holds many officer positions! Isn’t that substantial?

Oh man, this is rich.
