Chance an upward trend?

<p>White male applying for engineering
My weighted GPA is
9th: 89
10th:87.9
11th: 95
12th first semester: 96 with 4 APs
there's a reason for the low first half, and my guidance counselor did her best to explain it, as did my teachers in their recs</p>

AP: 5s on Chem and both Econs</p>

<p>ECs: all I do is run. 12 varsity letters, captain of cross country (2 years), spring track, and winter track. have a little bit of volunteer stuff too</p>
