Chance and ED

<p>I would like to know what my chance would be for getting in regular decision.
Male, white, class of 2012.
UWGPA: 3.76 (no weighted at my hs), Weighted ranking: 49/~320 (~15%), very competitive high school, Oregon public
ACT: 31 SAT: 2000 (1360)
APs: German - 5, AP US - 3, AP Chem - 3
I am also taking AP Econ, AP Physics, Calc AB, and AP French this year.</p>

<p>I have done varsity wrestling all four years, was a captain last year and this year. I also played soccer for the first two years of high school.
I have probably done a good ~100 hours of community service through different programs over the past few years, don't want to list them all.
I am also a NHS, German, and French honors society member, and treasurer for French Club for two years.
French club member for 4 years and German club for one year until they slashed the program.
Lots of other little things, not worth mentioning.
I worked full time this summer in inventory at a manufacturing facility.
I have also lived overseas in Germany for 6 years and Singapore for 3 years, I am basing my essay off of that so I think my essay will be pretty strong.</p>

<p>I realize my chances normally wouldn't be too high due to my GPA and low test scores, but both of my parents and both of my grand parents went to Northwestern, so I'm kind of hoping that will give me a good shot at getting in.</p>

<p>I also have a question regarding early decision. I am applying for a NROTC scholarship which would allow me to not worry about money. But chances are I won't know before early decision whether I got it or not. I am afraid that if I apply early decision and don't get the NROTC scholarship they will force me to go. Without the scholarship I wouldn't be able to pay for college and would have to take out loans which my family does not want to. The problem is that my family does make a good amount of money, enough that I think they would say we can afford it.
I asked during a college visit but the person would never answer me and kept saying "If you can't pay for it you won't have to go."</p>

<p>Thanks!</p>
