If you chance me at these schools (ranked in order of my current preference), I would gladly chance you back:

1.Princeton (double legacy)
2.UVA
3.Davidson
4.Bowdoin
5.Georgetown
6.Stanford
7.Yale
8.Pitt
9.Kenyon

I would retake your SAT, but I think you would be a great canidate!

You have great grades and Ecs, but your SATs really hold you back from Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and UVA. If you can get your Math SAT up to a 750ishz:

Princeton: Mid-reach (I don’t know how much legacy helps)

UVA: Low Reach/High Match (UVA is ridiculously hard to get into OOS)

Stanford: Mid-reach

Yale: Mid-reach

Pitt: Low match/safety

Princeton, Stanford and Yale are all very high reaches. Even with double legacy at Princeton your SAT scores and ECs are just too weak.

I definitely understand the feedback based on the scores, but if those aren’t good ECs, what are good ECs?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/210497-those-ecs-weak-so-whats-good.html

Did you take AP exams for all of those AP classes that you scored so well in, or did you only take the exams for APUSH, AP Lang and AP Human Geo?

1.Princeton (double legacy)- mid reach (unless legacy helps a lot?)
2.UVA-mid reach (might be harder since you’re OOS)
5.Georgetown- match
6.Stanford- match
7.Yale- mid reach

I’m not the most knowledgable, but based on the research I have done on colleges for the past few months that is what I think  You have a really good SAT score (I wish I had it), but I think that if you could pull your math up to around a 700 you would be better off for some of your top schools. Writing isn’t as valued as CR & Math and you’ve already done superbly on your CR section. Just my thoughts!

Oh and chance back? :)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1205078-chance-me-uva-william-mary.html

1.Princeton (double legacy) - high match/low reach. more to the latter
2.UVA -match
3.Davidson -not sure
4.Bowdoin -low reach
5.Georgetown -match
6.Stanford -reach
7.Yale -reach
8.Pitt -not sure
9.Kenyon -not sure

And definitely retake SAT. I struggled so much to get 740 on my CR and you got 800? o.o Math and writing are very, very easy to raise marks in in short period of time. I strongly recommend taking it again, and you will have a greater chance.

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1206111-chance-me-ivy-leagues-nyu-stanford-others.html
