Please chance for those listed above and please suggest schools to me as well! :D

I don't know the California schools well, but I'd just like to point out that an 800 on US History is 99th percentile, so I wouldn't be too sure of that unless you're really amazing at history.

For your chances in general, I'm a little concerned about the 2.5 GPA but otherwise you look like a strong candidate.

Is it really 99th percentile? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I can get that. American History absorbs in me REALLY well.

If not 800, most definitely 750+. I'm not just saying this as a naive SAT test taker, but I've been studying extensively along with practice tests.

Bumpppppppppppp

What is your UC GPA? If it is not at a 3.0 or more, you are ineligible for UC, in which case you may apply for admission by exception (info on UC site).

Yes, I understand that. By the way I was told that admission by exception is not something you apply for, but under the discretion of an admissions officer. That is why I am quite concerned and unsure.

bumpppppppppp

hmmm if you can get that GPA up..then it would be

UCR: safety
UCM: safety
UCD: match
UCI: match

Eek...makes sure to keep your GPA up and look into the UC policies. While I'm sure there was an extenuating circumstance, colleges are not super-sympathetic to those kinds of dips.

You must ask to be considered for admission by exception on your application.

University of California - Admissions

Yes, you can ask for an opinion through email, but there isn't something you do on the application. For example, there isn't a little check box that you mark or something for ABE.

I was actually told this by the UCD Admissions rep on the UC forum here.

bumpzorrrrrrrrrr
