Please chance for University of Wisconsin

I just want to know if I have a chance of getting?

You definitely have a decent chance, if your clubs are impressive clubs, and not useless ones. Also, I agree that your essays will play a major role.

You have a really strong chance of getting in. Not to make you stressed but a lot is riding on your essay. Being a minority definitely helps you so make sure you play it up. Is your basketball team good? And also what are the clubs? Good luck

Your GPA and test scores are average for Wisconsin so that’s alright so your ECs and essay and recommendations will really sway your acceptance. I wouldn’t be worried.

I think you have a good overall chance of getting in because of your stats, but like the people above me, I agree that a lot depends on your essay.

Very good chance…I think you would be a review admit though, so you would be admitted based on your essays, ECs, and leadership, as well as your test scores. Try and take the SAT one more time, and if you haven’t taken the ACT, take it also.

If the essays are as good as you say they are, I think you will get in for sure. It seems evident that you have leadership qualities, and while your GPA and scores good be better, they aren’t bad, so I think you’ll be fine. Also, (and I’m not being racist here) the fact that you are a minority helps your admission chances as well.

depending on major, you should have a fairly decent chance ( sat brings you down a little but not much)… unless you’re applying to engineering where then, you’re chances would be lower (20% lower about).

GPA and SATs could be a little higher, but it all comes down to your essays and whether or not you stand out, but it looks like you have. Good luck

Are you instate for UWisconsin Madison? When did you send your complete application?
If you sent it in September and as you stand (as described in OP), it’s a match. A higher score would be necessary if you apply later on.
What other schools have you applied to?
(One shouldn’t just apply to one school. Even if you get in, what do you do if the financial package isn’t enough? Better to have several choices. For instance, if you qualify for WI, you may qualify for Honors at UWI-Lacrosse or UWI-River Falls. You could try for a scholarship at Beloit if you’re the quirky type, or try for Marquette if you’re really into sports or try Lawrence if you’re into science… Out of state, schools like Creighton, Butler, Luther, St Thomas, are within reach. In addition, you benefit from an exchange with MN, so you could apply to UMN-Twin Cities or any public school in MN that strikes your fancy and is affordable.)
Run the Net Price Calculator on each school (including UWI) and bring the results to your parents. See what they say about costs. Make sure you have 3 schools within budget at least.
