Why do you feel compelled to keep “bumping” this thread? What else are you hoping to get out of it? Everyone seems to agree on your chances. Nobody is going to contribute to pages and pages of “bumps.”

@woogzmama because I would like more feedback seeing that this is my first choice. This is the What Are My Chances thread.

UW Madison? I think you have a solid chance of getting in, unless you’re applying to engineering or something. Be ready to pay a lot of money considering you’re out of state though.

Match, but if engineering then high match. You’ll most likely get in.

You have a good chance of getting in. I don’t see any glaring obstacles.

Mine? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1699358-am-i-setting-my-sights-too-high.html#latest

For sure! my friend got in with a 3.5 UW but she was also a national merit scholar:/ I still think u’ll get in

I know for a fact you have a great chance. UW Madison is trying to be more diverse and wants more black people to apply and attend as well as all different races, etc. UIUC is very diverse and that is one area UW Madison is weak in and is hoping to change. Your credentials are good but your essay choice, etc. could work in your favor just don’t be too one sided, I mean come across how you are diverse. Universities love when students bring diversity as well as accept diversity. My daughter traveled to China and loves cultures and used that in her essay. She a passion for culture and diversity and was accepted to some great Universities. I went to Madison ages ago!! Love the school!!
