Chance as an international student.

I am an international student from south east Asia. I cam to know about the university when they were visiting my country. From that moment on I am very interested in this college. It is everything I wanted in a college environment. But I don't think I stand out as a strong applicant which worries me. I need financial aid as well.

I know my profile doesn't stand out like some other stellar student profiles. But I am genuinely looking forward to study here. I can afford around 10-15k$ a year. So even if I apply, is there some chance that I may get selected?

UR doesn’t offer need-based FA to international students who are not residents of Mexico or Canada.

I can’t/won’t comment on your chances of acceptance, but consider how you’re going to pay for UR whose 2014-15 COA is $68K/year for internationals.

@WayOutWestMom‌ Ohh thank you I haven’t been doing my research properly. Thanks for the information, it looks like I won’t be applying here then. Disappointing but got to be realistic.
