Hi! I'm a junior in IB this year and I'm taking relatively rigorous courses. Last year I took AP US history and AP computer science (all other classes pre-ap/pre-ib). This year my classes include: IB Bio SL, IB Chem SL, IB Calc BC, AP Environmental Science, IB Euro, IB Spanish SL, IB English SL, and IB TOK. Next year, I am planning on taking IB Bio HL, IB Chem HL, IB World Area Studies, IB English HL, IB psychology SL, IB physics SL, IB TOK, and either AP Stat/IB Math HL/AP Economics. My question is which of the 3, stat, math HL, or econ should I take? Also, I'm pretty confident that I will get a 2300-2400 on the SAT. My unweighted GPA is 3.75 but should be at least 3.8 this year, possibly 3.85. My I am ranked in the 60's in a competitive school and should be in top 8% by the end of the year. My weighted GPA is 5.17, likely 5.25 by the end of the year. What are my chances at ivy league schools? I really want to get into Brown or Cornell! Can you please give me some tips on what I can do this year or what classes I can take next year? Thanks! There is also a significant upward trend in my grades and I've been trying to take the hardest classes possible.

Coursework and stats are just two factors in the admissions process.

Your stats are hypothetical and you did not mention any ECs or the quality of your essays (it is obviously too early for them to be written but you should know about how strong your writing skills are).
