0% at an Ivy I would say. You need to be decent in stats/ecs/awards, but all these are not very good. Very difficult, sorry.

thanks…
I wasn’t aware that a 96 average in all those APs/Honors classes isn’t very good. And I’m only applying to two ivies: Dartmouth and UPenn…

Okay so you may not be Harvard material but you have some good stuff! I wouldn’t say 0% chance, if you have good essays I’d say you’re as good as plenty of other applicants!

Your course load is good and your GPA is good, don’t let them tell you otherwise.

Yeah, your SAT scores are a little low for the top schools on your list (dartmouth, penn, duke) but they’re still very good.

200 hrs volunteering isn’t a whole lot, and sports aren’t that exciting, but that’s still good so they know you aren’t stuck in your room all day studying.

I’d say that you have a good chance, you’ll definitely at least get in to 5-6 of these! Just keep in mind people on this site that think they can “chance” you are usually Ivy-League hopefuls.

I have slightly worse test scores and grades than you, but stronger ecs and volunteer work, and I got into BC REA so don’t count yourself out! Essays are super helpful, just saying.

thanks! If I raise my scores for the SATs do you think I will have a better chance at some of these? I didn’t have a very good day when I took these!! I am also running for captain of soccer next year, so we will see! Hopefully I’ll get some more community service this summer too! I’m really hoping for Boston College, Emory, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and Tufts. I know the ivies and Duke are reaches.

everything looks fine, and improving your SAT scores will help A LOT. they’re fine as is, but since you’re applying to really selective schools it’s a good idea to bring them up a bit. the ones i know are high matches to reaches because they’re so selective, but i think everything you have is pretty good so you have decent chances at most of them. good luck! :)

Ignore the people that say you won’t get in. They don’t know, and can’t predict it either.
No one can tell you your chances at Ivies except for the school itself. Just write good essays and be optimistic! :D

thanks everyone! This stuff makes me really nervous!

Wait. are you a junior? because if so you’re doing great!
