Medical Research:
-I am currently doing reserach at a laboratory at Yale Medical School on type two diabetes. The research has further convinced that medicine is the path that I want to pursue in life.

Job:
-I am a waitress at a nursing home and this job has made me a more confident and assertive person. I have always known that I wanted to be a physician and this job has made me realize that I want to devote the rest of my life to helping others.

For the admission essays, I plan on writing about my life changing experiences like the research on diabetes at Yale and my job and the volunteering experience at the hospital. I also plan on writing how my parents are the people that inspire me because of their backgrounds and their accomplishments.

Can you please tell me which BS/MD programs that I should apply to or even what strong pre-med schools that I should apply to and have a chance at getting in. I know that my SAT scores are not that good but you have no idea how much I want to be a doctor. Thank You.

I am looking specifically at the Siena and Albany Medical college program.
