Chance at CAL?

<p>Unweighted GPA: 4.0 (tied for rank 1 with 4 other students)
Weighted GPA: Took 4 APs from sophomore/junior year..i BELIEVE it is a 4.4 but Im not sure how to calculate it

2 Years NHS(Secretary last year, President this year) Helped save club from being removed from the school

2 Years Spanish Club (President) Also taking Spanish AP this year
3 Years International Relations Club (USG of Public Relations) Attended BMUN, SCVMUN, RHSMUN, NHSMUN
2 Years Newspaper (Sports Writer)
150 Volunteer hours at the library (tutoring, helped with BookSale, and also created tutorial videos that were put on the website)</p>

<p>it’s essentially a crapshoot with Cal/UCLA. at least you have /a/ crapshoot. some have none.</p>

<p>You should have a decent shot. I know lots of people in that ballpark, even lower, who got in. But ‘chancing’ is always speculation. Since we can never know what they really look for in evaluating, and since we can never know exactly what others wrote on their applications. But overall, I think you look like a good applicant. Don’t take my word for it though, i agree with the crapshoot comment a bit…</p>
