EC's
Tenor section leader of Wakefield Madrigals
Got in District XII Choir 9, 10, 11, and 12
VMEA Honors Choir - most competitive choir in the state, only open to seniors, first person from my school to get in in the last 10 years
I went to the Vocal Arts camp at JMU.
I was Judas in Godspell freshman year, a storyteller in Once On This Island sophomore year, Bob McCord in The Marriage of Miss Hollywood in King Neptune junior year, and Monsieur d'Arque in Beauty & the Beast Junior Year, rehearsals for all of these were monday-thursday three hours after school for about 3 months each. Very labor intensive and time consuming.
Once On This Island got nominated for 7 cappie awards including Best Musical, so I performed (along with the cast) at the Kennedy Center for the Cappies gala
I was a Teen Apprentice at the Levine School of Music
I've played piano for 13 years, superior at the NVMEA festival for 8 years in a row (every time I've participated)
I was the musical director for Runaways my junior year
I was in Mindset, which was a Capital Fringe Festival show, very positive reviews and featured in the Huffington Post as a "Capital Fringe" pick.
I was a founding member of the Gay-Straight Alliance my sophomore year, I am gay myself
I swam Varsity swim team sophomore year

Notable Things:
Huge upward trend at junior year and senior year, it's my freshman and sophomore year that are bringing me down.
My recommendations are from my AP Art History and my AP Physics teacher, which have been the two classes I've tried the hardest in. I waived my right to see them so I don't know how the recommendations are, but I've heard both teachers write VERY good recommendations, also those are my prospective majors so i felt like they fit.
I assume my essays are really strong, I've always been a good writer, hence the 5 on AP english.
If it counts for anything, I was the French II Student of the Year, and I got the "Princpal's Honor Roll" my junior year.
