<p>Good question on why Dartmouth for Engineering. IT’s because I really love that campus, the OUtdoor club, the environment, the size and the humanities at Dartmouth and want access to all that but also want to get into engineering. I realize that Dartmouth’s Eng program is not the strongest esp at undergrad level. thanks for your reply.</p>

I applied to both those places, and I can say for certain that you have better chances than I do. Go ahead and apply and then hope for the best. I have a feeling you will get into Duke. It’s harder to say with Dartmouth, however.</p>
<p>I really wouldn’t like to say. Both seem like low to mid reaches, honestly. I would say you have a better chance at Duke than DArtmouth, but doesn’t everyone…? LOL. Anyway, good luck.</p>

<p>Duke has much better weather.</p>
<p>not many EC’s but becoming an eagle scout is a great achievement that will definitely stand out. i still think that both are reaches because Duke’s Pratt school of engineering is far more difficult than its Trinity Science school. Still, your SAT 2’s are solid and a 33 is pretty good. they are both extremely tough to get into, but good luck!</p>
