<p>I went down to elon a few weeks back to see the school and visit friends and absolutely loved it. I plan on applying ealy decision...</p>

<p>My CUM high school gpa is a 2.8 at a very high ranking public school in MA.</p>

<p>I take honors english and honors civics and all the rest of my courses are college prep (reg.)</p>

<p>My freshman year was a little worse than my soph and junior year but overall i have stayed pretty consistant with my grades (which are not the greatest). Butthe second half of my junior year I have gotten a 3.4gpa.</p>

<p>I play varsity sports year round (CC,swimming,lacrosse) and I am very involved with community service.</p>

<p>My SAT scores right now are 1890, but I am taing them in june and my goal score is a 1950.</p>

<p>what are my chances at Elon early decision? I know that they take a much higher percentage of kids early decision, and I have expressed to the school it is my number one choice and definetly want to go there.</p>

<p>make sure your essays express why you are a good fit for Elon; include what sets you apart that relates to the experiences they prioritize…</p>

<p>SAT/ACT is fine…</p>

<p>You need to recalculate your GPA; take out all plusses and minuses; use only core courses…if you have no C’s, you should be fine for ED unless the ED applicant pool explodes next year (for whatever reason)…</p>
