- Summer intern at the Baltimore National aquarium ( I was selected and trained over the summer served as a volunteer and intern giving presentations on climate control and aquatic sciences)
- Rustic Pathways (I went to India over the summer to volunteer at an orphanage helping young Indian children enhance their math and reading skills [2 weeks]
- El Campo de Bosque (Counselor at a Spanish summer camp, creating and giving lessons to young spanish students)
- Hosted a Spanish exchange student my sophomore year
- Envirothon ( national environmental competition) 9-12 Historian 10/11 and V.P 12, We've gone to states 2 years in a row
- Chemathon ( state chemisty competition) 9-12 selected competitor and group leader, won events in the past
- Model United nations 11-12 (Secretary both years) Won awards for my position paper
- Literary Magazine 10-12 Design editor (our magazine has won gold medals)
- Active Minds 12 (cofounder with a few friends of mine, spreading mental health throughout our high school. One of the few high schools in the nations that does this (its normally a college oriented society))

- Independently study Romanian and Russian since the 9th grade. I'm VERY into languages
- Volunteer at local veterinary hospitals and serve as a shadow and assistant

Both of my parents went to Georgetown and my mother taught there for a semester. My grandfather, two of my uncles and an aunt also went there. One of our good family friends is talking to the boards of admission for me. my family actively donates</p>
<p>Cool Stuff:
-I study many languages independently
-I have many penapls from across the world and two of my best friends live in Romania and Italy. I was able to visit my friend in Romania and travel the country a few years ago. It really shaped who I am today and lead towards my interest in Eastern European studies
