Hello,

What are my chances at getting into Berkeley or Ivy Leagues? These are my stats:

2090 SAT
4.0 Unweighted GPA (I take the most rigorous classes at my high school)
Good (not great) teacher recs
Great Essay
No subject tests

Thank you so much. This means a lot to me. Your replies will make my day, and give me hope for my future. Thanks again <3

Are you in-state for Berkeley?

Bring that SAT score up, and take subject tests! Get at the very least 2 subject tests, and 3 if you can. (I know some schools require 3, but I can’t recall off the top of my head)

Also, what are you extracurriculars? Very important for the Ivy Leagues.

Georgetown requires 3!

Cornell would be a reach. the other Ivies likely out of reach.

Berkeley = match (if instate & applying for Letters, Arts, & Sciences)

Thank you for your opinions everyone :)

I am applying out of state, and my extracurriculars include:

speech and debate (have not won any major awards)

2 choirs (involved in choir, meet 2 twice each week for total of 2 hours)

mentor at my school

swimming (meets every weekday for 1.5 hours)

hospital volunteer (during the summer)

leader of a band for sick people (meets two hours each week)

Thanks again everyone :)

For oos at Berkeley, bring up the SAT score a little bit higher. Not to mention for the Ivies too which are obvious reaches.
