Chance at Masters in CS coming from Berkeley

Recently I got really interested in pursuing a higher degree in computer science but I'm not really sure of my chances of getting into a decent master's program. After reading around the forums, it seems real intimidating with everyone's high GPA. So far (I'm in my junior year) I only have a mere 3.2GPA, which sucks I know.. and I also got a D- in a discrete maths course (which I retook and got a B+). I have no research/internship experience thus far, but I'm trying to change that in the upcoming semesters. But I have been working since I first got into Berkeley. My current job(s) are more IT related, one as a IT Technician at UCPress and the other as a web developer for a civil engineering company.

I was wondering what my chances are if, say, I was able to obtain a research position in my last two semesters and raised my GPA up to ~3.4-3.5 (everyone's so competitive :( ahhh)?

Also, would two research positions (one each semester) be better than one research position over two semesters?

One more thing, can anyone provide me with a full list of CS grad school rankings since usnews.com only offers the top 3... which i'm not sure i'll be able to get into..

Any input is appreciated,
Thanks all!

oh, i forgot. I'm majoring in CS at Berkeley. Any help?

Well, I cannot say what your chances are, but the CS program at
Berkeley is prestigious and I heard grades are deflated there. So at
least, they are likely to consider your GPA to be better than the same
GPA at most other colleges.

If I were you, I would stay in one research position over two semesters,
to show that I have concentration and patience. Also, considering
publication, this choice seems better to me.

I'm a junior majoring in CS, and planning to go to graduate school too. :)
Good luck!!

Sorry, "better" was not an appropriate word choice.
I meant that two semesters of research would make you more
prepared to publish a paper.
