Hi, I'm having trouble finding up-to-date information on the summer term at FSU so maybe you guys can help me out.

My unweighted GPA is a 3.67
weighted GPA: 3.92
I took the ACT once and got a 26 with my sub scores being:
english:23
math:24
reading:31
science:27
I am also highly involved with my community and have received many awards for supporting my temple and community throughout high school with hundreds of hours of community service work.
I have only received one C ever in high school and it was in geometry my freshman year, all other grades and have been mostly A's. All my classes are honors and I have never taken an AP class before. I understand not taking an AP will not look good but I'm taking a summer dual enrollment class and I am taking two AP's my senior year. I am applying for summer not fall so the chances are somewhat easier. How do you think I'll do??

You don’t have that great of a course rigor- as you yourself note- and your ACT scores aren’t that great. The good news is that your GPA isn’t all that low for your profile. You have taken pretty good advantage of what you had to work with in regards to your class schedules. I would say your chances are okay, maybe 50% of being accepted.

The one thing I can advise is to apply for Fall. If you are not accepted for Fall, your application is automatically considered for Summer, which is sort of like being given two chances in one in being accepted. This is advice given directly from the university.

Pasbal pretty much covered it. You have a decent shot, but you can’t really know for sure, mostly because they haven’t seen how well you’d do in an AP class. Try to do really well in the dual enrollment course and raise your ACT a point or two, and I’d say you’re more likely in than not. Good luck!

Ok! Thank you very much! I’m shooting for a 27 or 28 on the ACT and I definitely want to get nothing short of an A in my dual enrollment classes.

Even though I never took an AP class for the first three years of high school, do you think my 3 dual enrollments that I’ll be taking and my two AP’s senior year will be enough?

Your classes and GPA are fine. The average last fall was a 4.0 weighted GPA. You’re nearly at the average. Like others said, if there’s a problem, it’s your ACT scores. Your composite score is in the bottom 25% and your English and math scores are just above the minimum.
