Over the summer, I plan to do some volunteering and internship.
What can I do to strengthen my application?
My recommendations will be ok ~ good.
My essay I am sure will be awesome. I hope to appeal the fact that i am tri-cultural so I hope to represent NYU's unique diversity. I am pretty good at writing.

I've lived in the US for 7 years now.
Prior to living here, I lived in Korea for 5 years and Chile for 5 years.
I am fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.
My native is korean though.

NYU is my first choice. so I am applying ED.

Looks like i will be going into economics, pre-law, engineering, maybe international relations. obviously i do not know for sure. But how much would it affect me if i apply as undecided.

you're in...your scores are great and above NYU's average...don't worry too much. The only thing you'd maybe have to worry about is being waitlisted b/c they think NYUs a safety for you...but not if you apply ED

thanks! i was actually worried with the drastic increase in NYU apps this year. Oh could some people also chance me for U Chicago and Berkeley? Thanks.

What is the unweighted GPA? This would be useful. Like others have said, your chances are pretty good. The SAT II in Korean is also a huge plus (really good hook)

my unweighted is prolly low somewhere around 3.68~3.7? But NYU recalculates GPA.

Berkeley, however, will look at both. I think, however, since your UW GPA is pretty good that you have a decent shot at Berkeley.
