Chance at Penn CAS ED?

<p>Applying Penn CAS ED, so chance me!</p>

<p>-ACT: 35 composite
-SAT II: 800 Math II, 790 US History
-Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.7ish by start of senior year (upward trend)
-Rank:top 5%
-AP scores: Expecting four 5's
-Senior Year Course Load: Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, AP Biology, AP English Literature, University level language, AP Computer Science, AP Comparative Gov
-Junior Year Course Load: 2 university level language + 7 AP's (all A's)
-Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): international religious honors (and also being one of the youngest in my community to ever achieve them)
-Member of two varsity teams (captain of one)
-Volunteer/Community service: 2,000+ hours :)
-Summer Activities: mentorship by internationally renowned religious scholars, reciting+teaching an ancient language for 6 hours a week, and research at university chemE dept.
-Worked for three corporations helping in accounting, infrastructure, and software development (HTML, Java, Python, VB.NET)
-President of two clubs, member of a few others
-Spent 6 years learning the art of reciting an ancient language (6-7 hours a week)
-Speak 4 languages, fluent in 3</p>

<p>Male, < 50K income bracket, first generation college (woo!), and sort of URM (mixed, but not sure if I'll check my URM race)</p>

<p><=Personal reflection=>
~Strengths: EC's, difficult course load, dedication, awesomeness
~Weaknesses: GPA (2 C's :(, a bunch of B's all of which were Fr+So year due to my rigorous EC's and also slacking off)</p>

<p>Very qualified, but your GPA might hurt you. If you apply as a URM, it might help you though. Best of luck, if not Penn, I’m sure you’ll end up somewhere great!</p>
