<p>I plan to apply to Pitt this year and would like to know my chances.
I plan to major in Chemistry or Psychology. I am an African American male and live in Pennsylvania. I went to a Public School. </p>

ACT: 25 (Retook in October) (Reading: 23, English: 24, Math 25, Science 29)

List of Honor Classes: Trigonometry/Pre-Calc, English 1-3, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Chemistry, Geometry, and Biology
I took a class at a local community college (English Composition) and got an A

<p>African american Male = under-represented minority. GPA, rigorous courseload, and top 5% are very impressive. Add to that a rigorous courseload. I actually think you are a sure thing despite ACT 25.</p>

<p>yes, you’re in. AA and good GPA. Probably no tuition scholarship though. I think 1350 SAT was cutoff when I applied, its probably higher now?</p>
